On 22 November, Toledo hosted one of the most important gastronomic events: the Stars Gala. The best chefs from Spain and Portugal gathered in the historic city to discover the finest gastronomic experiences on the Peninsula for 2023.
This award is to a chef what an Oscar for Best Picture is to a film director. So you can imagine how happy it makes us that these Stars land in our partner restaurants. Want to know which ones shone in this edition? Keep reading.
We add 18 new Stars and 2 Green Stars

One of the most exciting moments of the night is when we get to know those chefs who manage to add a Star to their establishment. For our part, it fills us with joy to announce that 2 partner restaurants are promoted to 2-Star Restaurant:
- Juan Carlos Padrón, of El Rincón de Juan Carlos (Adeje)
- Xosé T. Cannas, of Restaurante Pepe Vieiria (Serpe)
Finally, and after another consecutive year, the chefs of our partner restaurants with 3 Stars keep the highest gastronomic category:

Our restaurants shine again on the most star-studded night with 125 Stars
Once again, our partner restaurants stand out at the Gala most awaited by professional chefs.
The numbers don't lie. 16 of the 29 new Stars and 2 of the 3 new Two-Star restaurants trust us to manage their sales and make their guests happy. In addition, 7 of the 13 Three-Star Restaurants manage their reservations with CoverManager. Or, in other words, more than half of the most sought-after gastronomic experiences in Spain begin by booking with CoverManager.
But our restaurants' commitment doesn't end here. They go beyond gastronomy and care about sustainability and the environment, seeking a business model that looks after its surroundings. Congratulations to our 12 Partner Restaurants with a Green Star
In short, the sector's most prominent Gastronomic Guide concludes with 125 Stars of Partner Restaurants shining in the gastronomic firmament.
Working with top restaurants is part of our DNA. It motivates us to give the best of ourselves to live up to the best. And how do we give one hundred percent? By sharing 80% love and 20% positive demand.
Once again, congratulations to our Partner Restaurants. Although there is still time left to finish the year, we want to wish you a 2023 full of happiness for your Stars.
