Cover welcomes new strategic partners to the team

When we decided to launch this project, we never expected that in just 6 years we would have more than 6,000 restaurants and a market share in 25 countries.

It seems like only yesterday the first booking came in! Since then, a lot has happened and we have achieved great milestones that we are proud of. Even so, this is only just beginning!

Over the last two years we have hit the accelerator and expanded our family of solutions for the Hospitality Industry. We have launched our own ordering, takeaway and delivery system, with the aim of boosting direct channels and allowing all management to be centralised in a single tool. Restaurants such as La Mafia and Sushi Panda already use this solution. We have also improved our at-the-door queue management system, used by the El Corte Inglés cafeterias, through which the customer can add themselves to the waiting list and return to the restaurant when they receive a notification indicating that their table is available, saving the diner time and improving the restaurant's operations.

We continue working to nurture the restaurant's direct channels and, to that end, we have added a 360 service for our partner restaurants in digital marketing, thus helping restaurateurs increase and boost their bookings through their website and social media. This solution is called CoverDigital. We help them to improve their online presence, set up a Social Media strategy and boost their bookings on slow days. Breathe Marbella or Restaurante Alma from the Concert Musical Fest festival are some of the partner restaurants that have rolled it out. And as always, nothing ever feels like enough; we keep developing new solutions to continue adding value to the Hospitality Industry.

To this end, we also have marketing and loyalty solutions. In addition, the restaurant has its own database that helps it get to know its customers much better. And last but not least, we integrate with more than 160 tools in the sector to centralise all their management in Cover. We also help drive demand by integrating different sales channels such as Google, Facebook, OpenTable, Instagram, Huawei and American Express. We want to build the largest Demand-Generating Network so that the restaurant can choose how and where to sell its tables.

It all started with three people and now there are 119 of us! All thanks to the work the whole team does every day to achieve excellence in our service and in the hospitality we offer our partner restaurants. We continue to improve our solutions and our services. Who would have thought! We are very proud to have a great team of 9 different nationalities, which grows day by day and with the feeling that this is only the beginning.

Today, we have more than 9 million diners who book through CoverManager thanks to the more than 6,000 partner restaurants such as DiverXO, Goiko Grill and the El Paraguas group, across the 25 countries where we operate.

New partners and colleagues have wanted to join this adventure. With a stake of 25%, investors such as Félix Ruiz (Playtomic), Paco Ávila (MEDAC), Javier Gutiérrez (CEO of Grupo Dani García) and Fernando Martínez (founder of Alia Capital) are joining to help boost the value of CoverManager in the market and turn us into a global benchmark in the Hospitality Industry. As we like to say, all we need is good people, good at growing a team.

Our starting point was Seville and it is where we want to keep growing. We are located right in the centre of Seville, opposite the Cathedral, from where we export the best technology for the Hospitality Industry. From Andalusia to the world!

Thanks to the addition of these partners it will be possible to move forward as a company, strengthening our international expansion in countries such as Italy, Germany, Portugal, Mexico, Chile and Colombia, where we are already growing.
